Who We Are & Our History
Olivia Higher Secondary School is an English Medium Co-Educational school established in the year 1990. The school has reached its present Higher Secondary level from its humble beginning of a primary school because of the unwavering commitment and sheer dedication of its Founder-Secretary Mr. Gombui Dirinamai and Co-Founder- Sr.Principal Mrs. Kaibonio Dirinamai. The school is affiliated to the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur and Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur.
The school is located at Kanglatongbi, near Indira Gandhi National Tribal University (IGNTU) and is 21 kms away from the state capital, Imphal. It has good transportation and communication facility as the National Highway no.39 or Asian Highway no.1 is just a few yards away from the school campus.
At Olivia Higher Secondary School, we strive to offer a high quality, modern education environment with excellent resources designed to meet pupils’ individual needs. We train students to become men and women of strong character, high principles and a compassionate outlook. We incorporate excellent teaching aids and use innovative methodology for an overall development of the child.
The school is a completely secular institution that instills into its students a deep regard for Indian traditions and customs. Children from diverse communities study here and are free to practice any religion of their choice, and the school celebrates all major festivals with equal joy and reverence.
